Presenter’s bio
Dawna Schultz joined IEEE in 2018 and serves as the Sr. STEM Outreach Education Manager overseeing IEEE’s pre-university initiatives. Prior to IEEE, she was the Director of In-district Initiatives for the Rutgers Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education (CMSCE). Dawna began her career as a mechanical engineer with Honeywell International and she later transitioned to a career in education and taught at the elementary/primary level. Since she left the classroom in 2001, Dawna has coordinated and developed STEM programming for students and educators at Rutgers’ Douglass College- Douglass Project, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Stevens Institute of Technology- Center for Innovation in Engineering and Science Education (CIESE), and Rutgers University- CMSCE.
